Charting the Course With Seamless Connectivity and Entertainment
Danny Bowman leverages advanced technology and Spectrum’s network capabilities to deliver customers a seamless connectivity and entertainment experience. As Executive Vice President, Product for Spectrum, he has oversight of all connectivity and entertainment products, including Internet, WiFi, Mobile, Video and Voice.
In 2023, shortly after Danny assumed his current position, Spectrum became the first provider to offer video customers the Xumo Stream Box, delivering the next generation of video entertainment by combining hundreds of popular streaming apps into a single platform. Developed as part of a joint venture between Charter and Comcast, Xumo Stream Box leverages the power of the Spectrum TV App, which consistently ranks as the country’s highest-rated pay TV streaming app and most viewed streaming service.
With Xumo Stream Box as Spectrum’s flagship video product, Danny’s team is leading an effort focused on a Seamless Entertainment experience that integrates Spectrum TV with streaming content from all the most popular programmers in the country, delivering greater value and flexibility to Spectrum’s customers.
To further enable seamless connectivity for customers via Spectrum’s superior network, in 2021 all Spectrum Internet, WiFi, Mobile and Voice products were unified under Danny’s oversight. Since then, Danny’s team has led the industry with innovative products like Speed Boost, the Spectrum Mobile Network, Advanced WiFi and Security Shield, resulting in Spectrum regularly being named the fastest and most reliable internet and wireless service provider in the U.S.
Danny joined the Company as Chief Mobile Officer in 2018 to helm the launch of Spectrum Mobile, quickly establishing Spectrum as the fastest-growing mobile provider in the nation. Spectrum Mobile has since become an important growth engine for the business that, when combined with Spectrum Internet and Advanced WiFi, delivers a converged connectivity experience that customers can’t get anywhere else.
Danny’s Early Career
A technology, media and telecommunications industry veteran with more than 35 years of leadership experience, Danny joined Spectrum from LeEco North America, where he served as Chief Revenue Officer. Previously he led long-term strategic initiatives and oversaw operations and mobile operator and retail sales as Chief Sales and Operations Officer for Samsung Telecommunications of America. Earlier in his career, Danny spent 17 years at Sprint and Nextel (now T-Mobile), where he served as President and Vice President across several business units.

Danny received a bachelor’s degree in business management from Evangel College, an executive MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and an executive leadership certificate from Georgetown University. He is on the Board of Directors of Federated Wireless and holds two patents.
