Jason Brown

Jason’s Media Industry Leadership

Named Executive Vice President, Spectrum Reach in May 2025, Jason Brown leads Spectrum’s advertising sales business, which provides video advertising solutions for local, regional and national clients using its inventory with affiliated cable systems, networks and third-party streaming platforms in 91 markets across 36 states.

Since Jason joined Spectrum Reach as Senior Vice President, Chief Revenue Officer in early 2023, he has been instrumental in helping drive its growth in the dynamic advertising landscape using data and technology to deliver addressable and programmatic solutions across traditional and streaming platforms. Additionally, he has played a key role in expanding Spectrum Reach’s partnerships with leading streaming platforms to give small businesses even greater access to local ad inventory, launching AI and self-help solutions for clients to create their own ads or learn about video advertising, and developing new planning tools to boost the effectiveness of advertisers’ campaigns.

Jason’s Early Career

Prior to joining Spectrum Reach, Jason was Senior Vice President, Advertising Sales at DirecTV Advertising, where he oversaw all revenue lines for DirecTV and DirecTV Stream products. He also led sales efforts for WarnerMedia’s addressable business as Senior Vice President, Addressable, Local and Political, and he served as Chief Revenue Officer for Xandr, the advertising and analytics division of AT&T.

Before Xandr, Jason served as Senior Vice President, National and Local Sales for DirecTV from 2012-2019. He held various executive leadership roles in the media and sales industry, innovating marketplace models for networks in industries such as cinema and digital place-based media.

Jason received a B.A. in Business Administration from Skidmore College.
