Kevin’s Financial Leadership

As Interim Chief Financial Officer, Kevin Howard leads Charter Communications’ accounting and finance operations, tax and risk management, investor relations, procurement, equity and capital markets strategy and execution, and M&A and investing activity.

Kevin oversees the Company’s capital allocation strategy that supports key growth and innovation initiatives. Spectrum’s network evolution initiative will enable symmetrical and multi-gigabit speeds across its footprint by the end of 2027. Simultaneously, Spectrum is completing its multi-year Rural Construction Initiative, which is driven by the Company’s private investment of more than $7 billion and will add over 1.7 million mostly rural homes and small businesses to the Spectrum Broadband Network. Initiatives to complete the integration of the recently closed acquisition of Cox Communications and ensure the Company continues to maintain its industry-leading Customer Commitment are also underway.

Until stepping into the interim position in October 2026, Kevin was Executive Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Controller with oversight of the Company’s operational and technical accounting, strategic tax and tax operations, financial reporting, payables, business continuity, and enterprise resource planning operations since 2019. He previously served as Interim Chief Financial Officer for a portion of 2010.

Kevin played a pivotal role in completing the Company’s 2026 acquisition of Cox Communications and navigating the complex financial integration and reporting requirements following the Company’s 2016 transactions with Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks. The most recent transaction expanded the Company’s footprint to 45 states, making Spectrum the leading broadband and video provider in the U.S. serving 37 million customers.

For more than two decades, Kevin has been instrumental in the restructuring of billions of dollars in debt, ensuring robust financial reporting and compliance
