Spectrum News Launches Streaming Network in Maine

PORTLAND, Maine – Spectrum News today announced the launch of Spectrum News in Maine, a streaming news network available via Roku and Apple devices as well as the Spectrum News mobile app. The network will be available to Spectrum customers across the Pine Tree State. This product will feature local headlines every 30 minutes, hyperlocal weather reporting and high-quality news and content from Spectrum News+, providing Mainers more access to Spectrum News’ award-winning journalism.

Spectrum News in Maine integrates Spectrum News+, which curates nationally relevant local stories from across the country and local reporting from on-the-ground reporters in Maine. Initially, the launch of the new streaming network in Maine will feature national and local news 24 hours a day on weekdays, and on the weekends, it will broadcast original programming from Spectrum News+. Spectrum News Maine will evolve into a 24/7 news network in late fall.

Over the past few years, Spectrum News has launched its streaming news network, Spectrum News+ as well as linear TV news networks in seven states; introduced a mobile news app that has more than 3.2 million downloads; debuted three digital-only local news operations; and, late last year launched its local CTV news app on Roku and Apple TV, underscoring its commitment to making Spectrum News available and accessible to audiences on whichever platform they prefer.
