Spectrum is the Secret Ingredient at North Carolina Burger Joint

Joseph Huang considers food a symbol of love, happiness and human connection. The belief took root as a child, during the hours he spent chopping vegetables in his grandmother’s kitchen while she cooked. Later, it became the heart of Bang Bang Burgers, the restaurant he opened more than a decade ago in Charlotte’s vibrant Elizabeth neighborhood.
With its menu of mouth-watering burgers, sandwiches and hand-cut fries, Bang Bang Burgers quickly built a loyal following to champion its excellent food. In 2018, the restaurant expanded, opening a second location in the city’s North End.
That success stems from a combination of passion, process and Spectrum Internet. With more of Bang Bang’s operations happening online – everything from running its point-of-sale system to changing the temperature in the dining room – Spectrum’s fast, reliable and secure service has become a secret ingredient that keeps the restaurant running smoothly.
All those moving pieces can make running a restaurant feel like conducting an orchestra. “If our internet is down, we’re not making music anymore,” Joseph said. “Spectrum is reliable and it’s fast, so I can get things done.”
And when everything comes together at Bang Bang – the food, the service, the guest experience – Joseph feels surrounded by love, like he did as a young boy in his grandmother’s kitchen.
