Spectrum Networks Names Bridget Foster News Director to Oversee Spectrum News Central North Carolina

Raleigh, NC – Spectrum Networks today announced veteran television news manager Bridget Foster has been named News Director, Raleigh-Durham-Fayetteville, overseeing Spectrum News Central North Carolina. Foster will report to Mike Gautreau, Vice President, News - Spectrum Networks and will be based in Raleigh.
“Bridget is a seasoned news manager with a proven track record of leading innovative and award-winning news coverage at Bay News 9,” said Gautreau. “She is an invaluable member of our Spectrum Networks family, and we look forward to her bringing that same leadership and creativity to North Carolina.”
Foster will oversee the strategic planning and execution of news coverage for Spectrum News Central North Carolina, managing the networks’ news operations in Raleigh-Durham-Fayetteville, Coastal North Carolina and Wilmington.
Foster has more than 22 years of experience in television management and production, including seven years with Spectrum News Bay News 9 in Tampa, Florida where she has served as Executive Producer since 2012. Prior to Bay News 9, Foster served as Assistant News Director at WTOL-TV in Toledo, Ohio and News Executive Producer at WXIN-TV in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was also previously a news producer for local stations in Tampa, Jacksonville, Tallahassee and Gainesville, Florida.
Foster earned a Bachelor’s of Science in telecommunications and Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida.
