Charter’s Spectrum Mobile continues to grow in popularity with customers seeking speed, simplicity and value in their mobile provider. In third quarter 2020 results announced Friday, October 30, Charter reported that Spectrum Mobile topped the 2 million customer milestone, adding 363,000 subscriber lines in the third quarter for a total of 2.1 million mobile lines.
“This achievement marks another significant chapter in Spectrum Mobile’s connectivity story,” said Chief Mobile Officer Danny Bowman. “We reached our second million subscriber lines in about half the time it took us to reach our first million subscriber lines. This demonstrates our ability to create real value for our customers by delivering a differentiated mobile experience with the fastest speeds, simple data plans and the best devices.”
Launched broadly to customers across Charter’s 41-state footprint in September 2018, Spectrum Mobile offers easy to understand data plans, starting with By the Gig for $14/Gig and Unlimited plans for $45/month for 20 GB and $55/month for 30 GB. All plans include 4G and 5G access, with no added taxes, fees or contracts, and customers can mix and match plans. Spectrum Mobile also combines high- and low-band nationwide 5G and 4G LTE coverage with Spectrum’s nationwide network of Out of Home WiFi access points and Home Internet.
