Paula Trustdorf Joins Charter Communications As Divisional President, West

St. Louis, Mo. – The appointment of Paula Trustdorf to the position of Divisional President,West for  Charter Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: CHTR) was announced today by Mike Lovett, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. 

Ms. Trustdorf will oversee Charter's West Division serving approximately 1.2 million customers in five states including California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Texas.  Based in Long Beach, California, Charter's West Division is one of three operating divisions.  Ms. Trustdorf will report directly to Mr. Lovett.

Paula Trustdorf has more than 13 years of cable industry experience.  Most recently, she was Senior Vice President at Adelphia Communications, responsible for its central region from 2003 to 2006, accomplishing a 12K mile plant upgrade in 18 months for the region's 1.4 million customers. Prior to her role at Adelphia, she held senior operational positions at AT&T Broadband, Australis Media Limited in Adelaide, South Australia, TCI of Colorado, Inc. and United Airlines.

In announcing Ms. Trustdorf's appointment, Mr. Lovett said, “Paula's appointment brings to the West Division a leader who is exceptionally qualified and one who has a proven operations track record.  Her operational experience will serve Charter and our customers well.”

Paula Trustdorf studied business and economics at Colorado Women's College and has participated in executive leadership programs at the University of Michigan and Harvard School of Business.  She has been a longtime member of Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) and Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT).
