Charter Launches High-Speed Internet Max with Speeds up to 16 Mbps in Wisconsin

MADISON, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 28, 2008--Charter Communications, Inc. today announced that it is launching its Charter High-Speed Internet Max service, with download speeds of up to 16 megabits per second (16 Mbps). Charter High-Speed Internet Max is available throughout most of Charter's service area in Wisconsin.

Charter High-Speed Internet Max is the premium tier of service for Charter customers and is up to 9x as fast as DSL and 270x as fast as dial-up. Charter also offers Charter High-Speed Plus, with download speeds up to 10 Mbps, and Charter High-Speed Internet, with download speeds up to 5 Mbps.
