Charter Communications Joins Wict Leadership Circle

-Joins Cox Communications, MTV Networks, Comcast and Time Warner Cable in Support of WICT Programs-

Chantilly, VA- The Women in Cable & Telecommunications (WICT) Foundation today announced that Charter Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq:CHTR) has signed on to become a member of the 2004 WICT Leadership Circle. Charter joins Cox Communications, MTV Networks, Comcast and Time Warner Cable as the final member of the 2004 WICT Leadership Circle.

The WICT Leadership Circle provides the highest level of support for WICT's programs, services and advocacy. Additionally, the WICT Leadership Circle presents the annual WICT Foundation Benefit Gala. The 20th Annual WICT Foundation Benefit Gala will be held at the Hilton Washington on November 3, 2004 and will include a presentation of the Accolades, WICT's most prestigious awards.

"As an advocate of women in leadership positions, it's our hope that Charter's participation in the Leadership Circle will further this cause throughout the industry by our funding of WICT's outstanding programs and services towards this end," said Charter President and CEO Carl Vogel.
