Charter Appoints Sandra Young Corporate Vice President of Human Resources

ST. LOUIS -- The appointment of Sandra G. Young to Corporate Vice President of Human Resources for Charter Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: CHTR) was announced today by Lynne F. Ramsey, Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Ms. Young will have overall responsibility for human resources policies and programs related to employee relations, recruitment, equal opportunity employment and diversity.

In making the announcement of Ms. Young's appointment, Ms. Ramsey said, "Sandra is an experienced human resources leader with the ability to put in place the strategies and effectively manage the core areas of human resources for which she has responsibility. We are pleased to have Sandra on our team, and will look to her to help Charter achieve its vision of being an industry leader in customer service through quality, commitment, courtesy and teamwork."

Most recently, Ms. Young served as Human Resources Director for NBC IT/Digitization and Six Sigma Organization in New York, with responsibility for NBC-wide staffing and recruiting. Previous to this she was the Human Resources Leader for NBC Cable. Ms. Young also served in a variety of human resources and training roles for PepsiCo/Taco Bell Corporation from 1986 to 2000.

Ms. Young is a Cum Laude graduate of Iona College New Rochelle, New York with a Bachelor of Science Psychology and received an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix.
