Charter Appoints Mary L. White Senior Vice President of Great Lakes Operations

ST. LOUIS - The appointment of Mary L. White to Senior Vice President of Operations for the Great Lakes Division of Charter Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq:CHTR) was announced today by Mike Lovett, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In this capacity, Ms. White will be based in Madison, Wisconsin, with overall responsibility for Charter-Great Lakes Operations serving some 1.4 million customers in Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

In making the announcement, Mr. Lovett said, “I'm especially pleased to have recruited a top talent like Mary White to this important role. Her experience in operations, sales and marketing, will serve us well as we continue to execute with excellence and align every employee around common goals that focus on the customer.”

Most recently, Ms. White was Senior Vice President of Colorado Operations for Comcast Cable, where she led an employee base of some 1,800 serving almost 700,000 customers. Previous to this she was Vice President of Operations for AT&T Broadband in Bothell, Washington, providing strategic direction to a field organization serving some 1.2 million customers. While at AT&T, Ms. White also served as Vice President of Marketing for Northwest Operations, having led marketing, sales, and programming for video, data and telephone products. She has also served in various marketing roles for TCI in Bellevue, Washington.

A graduate of Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago with a BA in Communications, Mary is also a graduate of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute, and serves on the Boards of the Judith Ann Griese Foundation, The Cherry Creek, CO Schools Foundation, and the Denver Metro Chamber of Congress.
