Spectrum News 1 to Debut New Exclusive Weekly Public Affairs Program ‘In Focus Wisconsin’ on Sunday, October 25 at 9:30 A.M.

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Spectrum News 1 today announced the launch of “In Focus Wisconsin,” a new weekly public affairs program exclusive to Spectrum’s video and internet customers, premiering on Sunday, October 25 at 9:30 a.m. For the debut show, Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes, GOP Chairman Andrew Hitt and Elections Commission Administrator Meagan Wolfe will virtually join Spectrum News 1 Anchor Jason Fechner for one-on-one interviews to talk about the general election and its impact on Wisconsinites.
“We are excited to provide another platform for our viewers to discuss the key topics that deserve a more thoughtful, concise conversation from objective perspectives,” said Diane Irving, News Director of Spectrum News 1 Wisconsin. “We’ll bring in local and state elected officials, community leaders, and advocates from across Wisconsin to address the deeper needs and issues that are relevant to the community.”
Each week, “In Focus Wisconsin” will delve into a range of state and local issues of importance to Wisconsinites through informative conversations with policymakers, political influencers and community leaders. The weekly thirty-minute program will provide viewers with objective and in-depth viewpoints from a roundtable of newsmakers representing a full range of local community perspectives, including government officials and expert analysts as they tackle one topical issue of importance to Wisconsinites. Hosted by Spectrum News 1 anchors and journalists, “In Focus Wisconsin” will air Sundays at 9:30 a.m.
“In Focus Wisconsin” is the most recent addition to Spectrum Networks’ exclusive line-up of In Focus programs. Hosted by award-winning reporters and anchors, In Focus features thought-provoking, hyperlocal issues-based conversations with key policymakers and influencers.
