Spectrum SportsNet and Spectrum Deportes Announce Los Angeles Lakers All-Access Programming for the 2017-18 NBA Season

El Segundo, CA Spectrum SportsNet and Spectrum Deportes today announced its exclusive, all-access Los Angeles Lakers broadcast and programming schedule for the 2017-18 NBA season. The official TV home of the Lakers, Spectrum SportsNet and Deportes will air 77 Lakers games, including all six preseason contests, set to tip off on Saturday, September 30 at 7:00 PM PT vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves.

On Friday, October 20, Lonzo Ball and the Lakers will tip off live regular season game coverage on SportsNet and Deportes when the Lakers travel to Phoenix to take on the Suns at 7:00 PM PT. Studio coverage will begin at 5:30 PM PT with SportsNet’s popular #Lakeshow, followed by Access SportsNet: Lakers pregame show that will include game previews and coverage 60 minutes prior to every game. Access SportsNet: Lakers postgame coverage will include player and coach interviews, game highlights and in-depth analysis from SportsNet’s expert studio team following every game.

Lakers veteran play-by-play announcer Bill Macdonald and analyst Stu Lantz will return to call all 77 games, with Mike Trudell as the sideline reporter. On Deportes, games will be called by Spanish-language play-by-play announcer Adrián García Márquez, with Francisco Pinto as analyst.

Spectrum SportNet studio programming will be led by hosts Chris McGee and Kelli Tennant with expert NBA and Lakers analysis from Hall of Fame analyst “Big Game” James Worthy and Lakers Insider Mike Bresnahan. Returning to join the Lakers studio team to provide expert analysis this season is an All-Star NBA lineup that includes: 7-time NBA Champion Robert Horry, 5-time NBA Champion Derek Fisher, 2-time NBA All-Star Antawn Jamison and “Showtime” legends Michael Cooper and A.C. Green. This season, the studio team will also be joined by WNBA Champion Candace Parker.

Spectrum SportsNet’s Emmy Award-winning Backstage: Lakers series will again take fans behind the scenes to give them an all-access look into the off-the-court experiences of Lakers players, coaches and executives. Backstage: Lakers will tip off its 2017-18 season coverage on Saturday, September 30 at 10:30 PM PT, immediately following the Access SportsNet: Lakers postgame show.
