So many small, rural towns still don’t have access to the high-speed broadband services that urban and suburban areas may have, yet their needs are just as great.
As part of Spectrum’s Rural Construction Initiative, driven by a more than $7 billion investment from the Company, Bennettsville, South Carolina, population of nearly 7,000, joined Spectrum’s network of connected communities in the Spring of 2024.
Annabell now runs her online rug business from home with a reliable connection while Deshaune learns online, connecting to the rest of the world. Jeff's cafe, Magnolia on Main, thrives and Johnny's meat business keeps up with customer demand. Today, residents are experiencing all the opportunity a Spectrum connection brings to their daily lives.
“High-speed internet – it’s a game changer,” said Johnny, Owner of Johnny’s Meats.
Many more cities and towns will be added to Spectrum’s broadband network this year, creating unlimited opportunities for more people in more places.
