Spectrum and RingCentral Team Up to Provide Business Communication Solutions

New Offering Gives Business Customers Enhanced Remote Capabilities

Charter Communications recently began rolling out Spectrum Business Connect with RingCentral, a communications solution for small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) that allows them to easily connect remote and mobile employees to their office under one converged connectivity experience. Additionally, a similar solution for Enterprise clients, called Spectrum Enterprise Unified Communications with RingCentral, will be made available in early December.

“Workplace expectations have transformed dramatically in recent years and we are meeting our customer’s needs as they shift and grow,” said Danny Bowman, Charter’s Chief Mobile Officer. “Spectrum Business Connect with RingCentral will enable our business customers to adapt to today’s rapidly changing work environment, giving them the flexibility and remote capabilities they require.”

Available to Spectrum Business Internet customers with one-stop onboarding through Spectrum, this new offering allows companies to equip their employees with enterprise-grade voice, messaging, texting (SMS/MMS), online meeting, video conferencing and collaboration solutions, regardless of their location. Users access and manage these features through the RingCentral app with optional compatible desk phones also available for purchase.

Spectrum Business Connect with RingCentral is currently launched in more than 90% of Spectrum’s service area and will become available in remaining markets in early 2023. Spectrum Enterprise Unified Communications (UC) with RingCentral will be launching in early December and will be available nationwide.

“Spectrum Enterprise offers a range of options for unified communications and collaboration solutions to support the complexities of today’s work environments,” said Satya Parimi, Senior Vice President, Product and Strategy for Spectrum Enterprise. “Our new UC with RingCentral solution seamlessly combines messaging, video conferencing, team collaboration and phone calling and is integrated with connectivity and managed services to provide an end-to-end tailored solution that meets all of our clients' needs.”
