Working together to advance digital inclusion and empower the future, we award Spectrum Digital Education grants in local communities across our 41-state service area.
Spectrum has announced the recipients of our Spectrum Digital Education grants for 2025. The nonprofits selected serve seniors, veterans and jobseekers through technology coaching programs, AI courses and community tech hubs.
Spectrum Digital Education has supported St. Louis Arc with multiple grants since 2017. The nonprofit helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities use innovative technology and has used grant funding to establish a tech room and purchase specialized adaptive equipment.
A world of new opportunity has been opened for seniors taking digital literacy classes at the Senior Citizens Association of Florence County, a nonprofit organization supported by Spectrum Digital Education. New computer skills have enabled remote access to telehealth services, instant connections with family and friends, and even an extensive genealogy history lesson.
Spectrum Digital Education recently awarded Austin, Texas-based Latinitas a $30,000 grant which the nonprofit will use to provide technology training to Spanish-speaking parents through its “Padres Digitales” program.
A recent grant enabled the Boys & Girls Club of Elizabethton/Carter County to purchase new computer lab equipment to serve as a remote learning hub for students in the community.
