St. Louis Homes That Will Be Rebuilt/Rebuilding Together

On May 2, more than 50 Charter our Community volunteers, in conjunction with Rebuilding Together-St. Louis, will spend the day rebuilding the St. Louis homes of two low income residents. The homeowners happen to be neighbors, but the similarities don’t stop there.

Mel and Anna have each lived in their homes for more than 40 years. Both women have had surgery that has limited their ability to keep up on home maintenance.

Mel’s and Anna’s homes will require critical repairs, including replacing the roofs. Additional projects will include installing handicap accessible amenities, security lighting and fence and porch work, all to improve the health and safety of their homes.

Since 2008, more than 300 Charter Communications employees have volunteered with Rebuilding Together-St. Louis to complete rebuild projects for low-income homeowners. “We are always eager to work with Charter and its crews. They bring an excited, skilled and determined group of volunteers that not only get the job done but have fun doing it. We are proud to continue our partnership with Charter,” says Dave Ervin, executive director of Rebuilding Together-St. Louis.

Be sure to check back after May 2 to see the full story of the rebuilding of Mel’s and Anna’s homes.
