Many Internet Service Providers, including Charter, are experiencing mail delivery challenges as a result of the spam and open relays generated during the recent outbreak of computer worms and viruses. Charter has committed substantial resources to address these issues and has begun the process of implementing the latest spam control technology. We anticipate the first phase of this process being completed by October 15th.

We regret any inconvenience to Charter high-speed Internet customers due to their being denied ability to send e-mail to certain Internet service providers. Customers are requested to forward returned messages to emailalert@charter.net to resolve this unfortunate situation.
