Spectrum Noticias NY1 To Debut The Only Spanish-Language New York City Centric Morning Show 'Nueva York Por La Mañana' with Adhemar Montagne On Monday, April 23

New York, NY – Spectrum Noticias NY1 (Noticias) today announced the launch of "Nueva York Por La Mañana" (New York in the Morning), New York City’s only Spanish-language morning newscast set to debut on Monday, April 23 at 7 AM EDT.

Anchored by veteran newscaster Adhemar Montagne, the new two-hour morning newscast will help New Yorkers get an informed start to their weekday, Monday through Friday from 7 to 9 AM EDT. Joining Montagne on the morning news team will be Breaking News Reporter Rosarina Breton and Transit/Weather Reporter Stephanie Vies with special reports and up-to-the-minute news on weather and traffic during the morning rush hour commute. "Nueva York Por La Mañana" will deliver a mix of local news, breaking headlines, weather, transit, and reports from the Noticias news team.

The new hyperlocal morning newscast will feature a range of segments and stories that are relevant to New Yorkers throughout the week. Reports from the Noticias news team will include stories from Transit Reporter Fabiola Galindo on New York City’s public transportation systems, ‘¿Cómo Se Hace?’ reports with Philip Klint on a range of topics to help viewers navigate life in the city, and ‘Pura Politíca’ host Juan Manuel Benítez who will feature the key local political stories of the week. Popular Noticias contributors including New York immigration lawyer and activist César Vargas, and political pundit Gerson Borrero will also appear on the new morning newscast.

Noticias, the only 24-hour Spanish-language local news network, is available on channels 95 and 801 on Spectrum and channel 194 on Altice in New York City.
