Spectrum News NY1 and Noticias NY1 to Air Live Coverage of New York's 44th Annual Village Halloween Parade

New York, NY - Spectrum News NY1 (NY1) today announced it will air New York’s 44th Annual Village Halloween Parade Presented by Spectrum News NY1, live on October 31 at 8 PM. The network’s 90 minutes of parade coverage will feature frightfully enchanting floats, performance groups, puppets and marching bands as they creep along Sixth Avenue from Spring Street to 14th Street.
NY1’s Pat Kiernan, Jamie Stelter, Roger Clark, Frank DiLella and Ruschell Boone will host the live coverage to bring viewers every frightful detail of the parade including the spooktacular Halloween costumes along the route.
This year, the NY1 hosts will treat viewers to a sweet surprise dressed as characters from the hit Broadway musical “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” now playing at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre starring two-time Tony Award winner Christian Borle.
Spectrum Noticias NY1 (Noticias) will also air the parade live in Spanish with hosts Fernando Cardenas Pena and Claudia Ospina dressed in costume to celebrate the Day of the Dead, known as Dia de los Muertos. Noticias’ parade coverage will include interviews with parade participants and attendees about the significance of the start of Dia de los Muertos.
Viewers can also follow NY1’s coverage of the 44th Annual Village Halloween Parade Presented by Spectrum News NY1 on Twitter using the hashtag #NY1Boo; viewers can also submit their costume photos with the hashtag. In addition, Spectrum customers will have access to the parade on www.ny1.com/halloween and via the TWC News app. NY1 and Noticias will also feature behind-the-scenes parade coverage on Twitter and Facebook.
NY1 is available on channels 1 and 200 on Spectrum and on Altice systems on channel 98 and 8. Noticias is available on channel 95 and channel 801 on Spectrum, and channel 194 on Altice in New York City.
