Spectrum News Central New York Debuts ‘Your Morning on Spectrum News’

New Morning Newscast to Wake Up Viewers Weekdays from 6:30 AM – 8:30 AM

New York, NY – October 24, 2018 – ‘Your Morning on Spectrum News’ is the new way for viewers to get an informed start to their weekday mornings on Spectrum News Central New York.

Every Monday through Friday from 6:30 – 8:30 AM, ‘Your Morning on Spectrum News’ delivers two hours of live local news for Spectrum viewers. The live morning newscast helps viewers prepare for the day ahead, delivering hyperlocal news, community stories and features, up-to-the-minute weather forecasts and traffic information specific to Central New Yorkers.

“We have a different kind of morning newscast for Central New Yorkers,” said News Director Ron Lombard. “We’ll be live and local when people need to know how to dress their kids for school, or whether they need to leave for work early to avoid heavy traffic. ‘Your Morning on Spectrum News’ gives viewers the essential news to start their day off the right way, with a full scope of the news and information that will have them feeling good for the day ahead.”

Spectrum News Anchor Devon Patton hosts the newscast and is joined by reporters Brad Vivacqua and Gabrielle Mediak, who deliver feature stories relevant to Central New Yorkers. Meteorologist Vanessa Richards provides all the information viewers need to prepare for the day’s weather, and Traffic Anchor Lacey Leonardi has the region’s only live TV traffic reports to help drivers plan their morning routes.

‘Your Morning on Spectrum News’ airs on Spectrum News Central New York throughout the Greater Syracuse area, Mohawk Valley, and North Country on channel 10.
