Spectrum News 1 to Add ‘Live Talks Los Angeles’ to its Robust Lineup of Programming for Spectrum Viewers in Southern California

“Live Talks Los Angeles” will Premiere on Friday, November 16 at 9 PM
Los Angeles, CA – Spectrum News 1 today announced a partnership with Live Talks Los Angeles to bring a series of onstage conversations featuring writers, actors, musicians, comedians and thought leaders to the 24/7 local news network created for Southern Californians. “Live Talks Los Angeles” premieres on Friday, November 16 at 9 PM and will air a new hour-long conversation every Thursday at 9 PM.
Spectrum News 1, launching November 16, will introduce an innovative approach to 24/7 hyperlocal news and information that leverages Spectrum Networks’ local experience and technical infrastructure to curate essential local stories for Spectrum viewers across Southern California.
The premiere “Live Talks Los Angeles” episode will feature a dialogue with Academy Award-winning actor and author Tom Hanks about his bestselling collection of short stories Uncommon Type. Hanks will be in conversation with Tim Long, a producer and writer on "The Simpsons." Future episodes will showcase onstage conversations with singer/songwriter Roger Daltrey; comedian/actor Eric Idle; Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Jon Meacham; Academy Award-winning actor Sally Field and singer/songwriter Pharrell Williams.
