NY1’s ‘Mornings on 1’ Will Take the Show on the Road to Host Full Newscast Live From Queens on May 22 at Forest Hills Stadium

New York, NY – Spectrum News NY1 (NY1) today announced “Mornings on 1” is taking the favorite morning news team of New Yorkers – Pat Kiernan, Annika Pergament, Jamie Stelter, and Stacy-Ann Gooden – out of the studio and into Queens to host the morning show live at Forest Hills Stadium on May 22 from 6-9 AM.

“We’re excited to partner with Forest Hills Stadium and bring the entire ‘Mornings on 1’ team to Queens for their first live remote newscast,” said Dan Ronayne, Spectrum News NY1 Senior Vice President. “Pat, Annika, Jamie, and Stacy-Ann look forward to helping our viewers connect with the community as we showcase the rich history and iconic locations from the city’s largest borough.”

In addition to delivering the top stories, weather, transit, and Pat’s “In the Papers,” “Mornings On 1” will showcase some of the local issues, businesses, restaurants and things to do in the borough. NY1 Reporter Stephanie Simon will visit the newly opened Hong Kong Gourmet Food Court in Elmhurst that is changing the local food scene and Reporter Roger Clark will report live from Rockaway Beach to highlight the area’s best beaches to visit over Memorial Day weekend. The show will also feature interviews with Luke Jensen, World TeamTennis’ New York Empire head coach.
