Making a Difference in Montana

This June, Charter our Community comes to Big Sky Country to help make another home safe and healthy. More than 30 Montana Charter employees will partner with Rebuilding Together Yellowstone County to help rebuild a Billings home for two low-income homeowners, Paul and Rose Marie.

Paul is a U.S. veteran, having served in both the United States Navy and Army National Guard. Rose Marie has suffered from a variety of serious medical conditions for many years. Accumulating medical bills have forced the couple to defer critical home maintenance, creating an unsafe and unhealthy home environment.

To ensure that Paul and Rose Marie receive the home improvements they greatly need, Charter our Community volunteers and licensed contractors will spend the day installing new windows, painting the exterior of the home, completing fence repairs and putting in new light fixtures. Repairs done by Charter employees will help create a better home for Paul and Rose and help make a positive impact on the greater Billings community.

“We are so excited to work with Charter Communications to help restore Paul and Rose Marie’s home to a place of safety and comfort,” said Mary Lou Affleck, Board Treasurer of Rebuilding Together Yellowstone County. “Charter brings with them a team of energetic and committed volunteers, and we are honored that our partnership allows us to revitalize our community while serving such a deserving family.”
