Charter Reaches Agreement in Principle with LIN TV Corp.

Charter Will Continue to Deliver Stations Owned and Operated by LIN TV While Agreement is Finalized

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 11, 2008--Charter Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: CHTR) today announced that it has reached an agreement in principle with LIN TV Corp., allowing it to continue to carry the analog, digital, and high definition (HD) programming of LIN TV Stations.

Charter will carry the broadcast signals in the 11 LIN TV-owned and/or operated local stations in Charter markets including Grand Rapids, MI; Green Bay, WI; New Haven, CT and Springfield, MA; as well as Dayton and Toledo, OH; and Providence, RI markets while and after the agreement is finalized.

Charter is working with LIN to document the agreement in principle in definitive form as soon as possible.
