Charter Names New Communications Leader and Promotes General Counsel

Alexander Dudley joins Charter as Senior Vice President, Communications

STAMFORD, Conn., March 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Charter Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: CHTR) adds to the strength of its senior leadership team with the appointment of Alexander Dudley as Senior Vice President, Communications, and the promotion of Richard Dykhouse to Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Mr. Dudley will join Charter on March 18th.

Promoted from Senior Vice President, Mr. Dykhouse will continue to oversee all legal operations for the Company. Mr. Dudley joins Charter to oversee strategic communications and community relations, including maintaining relationships with national, local and trade media.

Both Richard Dykhouse and Alexander Dudley will be based out of Charter's corporate offices in Stamford.

Mr. Dykhouse has served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Charter since 2011. He joined Charter in 2006, serving as Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary, and became Corporate Secretary in 2009. Mr. Dykhouse received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Finance from Olivet Nazarene University, a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University and a J.D. degree from the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis.

Mr. Dudley brings years of valuable experience to this new communications leadership role at Charter. He joins Charter from Time Warner Cable, where he served as Group Vice President, Public Relations, with responsibility for the company's interaction with national and trade media, and overall public relations strategy. He joined TWC in 2007. Prior to his cable industry experience, Mr. Dudley was a Senior Vice President at Dan Klores Communications in New York, working on a diverse array of crisis and corporate accounts that included large media and telecommunications companies. He began his career in New York State government, holding a series of communications positions in the Pataki administration. He is a graduate of Columbia University.
