Charter Communications Raises the Bar on Customer Care with CSG Systems

Charter Communications Now Using Full Capabilities of CSG Care Express

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (Oct. 11, 2005) Leading global customer care and billing solutions provider CSG Systems (Nasdaq: CSGS) today announced that Charter Communications, Inc. ("Charter"), a broadband communications company, is now actively using all of the capabilities of CSG Care Express to deliver more customer care options to its customers.

Charter provides broadband services to the home, including digital cable television, high-speed Internet and phone service to over six million customers nationwide. To provide a higher quality of customer service and offer more convenient options for customer care, Charter began offering CSG Care Express capabilities to its customers in 2002 and has continued to add additional components of the solution over time to further build out its online customer care services.

CSG Care Express allows customers to view, manage and pay bills over the Internet and virtually eliminates manual processes carried out by customer service representatives when taking orders and upgrading services. Charter is actively using all of the components of Care Express, including Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment, Self-Care, and Consolidator, the newest module that allows customers to pay bills from their broadband service provider through their choice of over 1,500 banks and financial services web sites.

Today, more than 300,000 Charter customers use Care Express to manage their accounts online.
