Charter Communications Names Additions To Midwest Division Operations Team

St. Louis, Mo. – The appointment of five more members of the team to lead the Midwest Division of Charter Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq:CHTR) was announced today by Lee A. Clayton, Senior Vice President of Operations, Midwest Division. Thom Anema, Vice President of Business Operations, David Harris, Vice President of Marketing, Margaret Lejuste, Vice President of Government Affairs and Franchise Relations, Abigail Pfeiffer, Vice President of Human Resources and Christopher Scurto, Vice President of Charter Business Networks (CBN), will provide guidance and support for the division, which consists of Charter systems in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Arizona. They join existing Division leaders Clare Huspeni, Vice President of Customer Care, Tom Gorman, Vice President of Engineering and Paul Sly, Vice President of Advertising Sales.

Thom Anema has responsibility for all aspects of financial planning and reporting for the Division. Mr. Anema has 20 years' experience in telecommunications, high tech and educational industries. Before joining Charter, he was Chief Financial Officer for Onesecure, Inc. and prior to that, served as CFO for Jones International, Ltd.

David Harris' industry career spans nearly 25 years. Mr. Harris joins Charter from United Pan Europe Communications in Amsterdam, The Netherlands where he served as corporate Vice President of Marketing/Sales and Customer Service since 2001. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Cox Communications largest system in Phoenix, AZ and held executive marketing and sales positions with Time Warner Communications, Jones Intercable, TCI and Rogers Cablesystems. Mr. Harris is recipient of CableVision Magazine's Innovator Award for Consumer Marketing, CTAM National Award for Integrated Marketing and other industry honors and recognition.

Margaret Lejuste was previously Director of Franchising and Local Government for AT&T Broadband, Denver, Colo. where she was responsible for local government relations and compliance of cable television franchise agreements with nearly 100 local jurisdictions. She was previously Director of Government and Community Affairs for TCI of Colorado. Ms. Lejuste was with the City of Aurora, Colo. for nearly 10 years as head of production for the City's cable station and served as liaison between the City and the local cable operator.

She received a B.A. degree from the University of Michigan and an M.A. degree from the University of Colorado. Ms. Lejuste is a member of Women in Cable and Telecommunications and the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors.

Abby Pfeiffer is responsible for all aspects of personnel and employee relations for the Midwest Division and brings 14 years' experience in human resources and administration. For the past year, she has been Vice President for Human Resources and Training with WOW! Internet & Cable, L.L.C., a position she also held at High Speed Access Corp. and Convergent Communications Services, Inc. She is a member of several professional societies and is certified (SPHR) with the Society for Human Resource Management.

As Vice President of Charter Business Networks (CBN), Christopher Scurto is responsible the Midwest Division's operation of this wholly owned subsidiary of Charter Communications offering businesses e-enterprise solutions. Mr. Scurto has nearly 20 years in the telecommunications industry, in wireless, wire-line and cable. His experience includes co-founding AirBlaster, LLC and serving as Vice President, Market Development for Jato Communications, Inc. He was also Vice President of Marketing for WBSA, Inc. He began his career in 1984 with Daniels & Associates/United Artists Cable Television Systems.
