Charter Annual Meeting of Stockholders To Be Held Tuesday, June 12, 2007

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 27, 2007--Charter Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: CHTR) ("Charter") will hold its Annual Meeting of Stockholders (the "Annual Meeting") on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 10:00 AM PDT in Seattle, Washington.

The Board of Directors has set the close of business on April 16, 2007, as the Record Date for determining who may vote at the meeting. All stockholders as of the Record Date are invited to attend the Annual Meeting. In order for any shareholder proposal to be considered for inclusion in the proxy statement, it must be delivered no later than March 14, 2007 to the Corporate Secretary, Charter Communications, 12405 Powerscourt Drive, St. Louis, Missouri 63131. Likewise, any shareholder notice of business to be brought before the Annual Meeting must also be received no later than March 14, 2007.

The Annual Meeting will be webcast live via the Charter's website at www.charter.com. The webcast can be accessed by clicking on "About Us" on the top right of the home page. The webcast will be archived on the "Investor & News Center" in the "Presentation/Webcast" section on the left beginning two hours after completion of the meeting.
