AOL and Charter Communications Announce Broadband Marketing Partnership; Charter Joins AOL's Coast to Coast Broadband Network to Deliver a Better, Faster Internet

DULLES, Va. & ST. LOUIS, Feb 02, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- AOL and Charter Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq:CHTR) today announced a partnership to offer consumers the AOL(R) service and Charter's high-speed Internet access.

The combined offer provides AOL members access to the AOL service's leading security features and exclusive content via Charter's true high-speed Internet connection at the competitive price of $25.90 per month. Beginning on February 6, 2006, AOL members in the Charter footprint will be able to sign-up for the new combined offering, as well as order a cable modem, making it simple and convenient to upgrade from dial up.
