Alexander Hoehn-Saric to Join Charter As Senior Vice President, Government Affairs

STAMFORD, Conn., Oct. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Charter Communications, Inc. (NASDQ: CHTR) today announced that Alexander Hoehn-Saric will join Charter as Senior Vice President, Government Affairs. Mr. Hoehn-Saric was most recently Policy Director in the office of Federal Communications Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel. Prior to that, he served the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, Senator Barbara Boxer and as a private attorney. Mr. Hoehn-Saric will be based in Charter's Washington, D.C. office and will report to Executive Vice President, Government Affairs, Catherine Bohigian.

His work at the Federal Communications Commission included strategic counsel to Commissioner Rosenworcel, particularly on issues related to media and technology. In addition, at the U.S. Department of Commerce, Mr. Hoehn-Saric focused on issues of privacy and cybersecurity, among others. In the U.S. Senate, he served as Senior Counsel for the Subcommittee on Consumer Protection, Product Safety, and Insurance as well as Communications Counsel for the Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation where he worked on the passage of numerous communications and consumer protection laws.
Mr. Hoehn-Saric is a graduate of the University of Chicago and the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. He currently resides in Maryland with his family.
