Charter Communications has been a leader in the cause of diversity. A prime example is the company’s sponsorship of the NCLR, one of the 15 organizations that signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in support of the transactions.

NCLR is a nonpartisan national & local organization made up of more than 300 local affiliates that represents more than 50-million Hispanics in the United States. NCLR claims to be the largest Latino civil rights organization in the country that offers educational and workforce services and programs.

Convention is 'Perfect Opportunity to Show Support'

"This is the perfect opportunity at the national convention and their expo to show our support" said C. Howie Hodges II, VP External Affairs, Charter Communications.

Zoe Colon, Director, Hispanic Federation, an NCLR affiliate member, added, "We need large institutions to invest in our communities and by the same token learn about our communities...Really participating in events like this and these partnerships allow some room...for us to interface with these corporations and get to know each other's culture, which is important."
