Allie Clifton Joins Spectrum SportsNet as Lakers Studio Host

El Segundo, CA - Spectrum SportsNet today announced veteran sports reporter Allie Clifton will join the network’s studio team for the 2018-19 Los Angeles Lakers season.

Clifton will be joining SportsNet’s veteran host Chris McGee as host of studio programming alongside the network’s talented lineup of experts and NBA analysts. Clifton comes to Los Angeles from Cleveland, Ohio where she served as the Cavaliers sideline reporter for FOX Sports Ohio broadcasts for six seasons (2012-2018). Prior to FOX, she spent three seasons as a field reporter for the Detroit Tigers Triple-A club, the Toldeo Mudhens. Clifton’s broadcast experience also includes serving as co-host for the Road Trippin’ podcasts with NBA stars Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye.

A former Division I athlete at the University of Toledo, Clifton played four seasons with the Toledo Rockets women’s basketball team where she was a three-time team captain.
