Reflecting the Communities We Serve
Rhonda Nesmith Crichlow has spent her career serving underrepresented communities and building environments of inclusion and respect. She joined Charter Communications as Senior Vice President, Chief Diversity Officer in 2016 to lead the Company’s diversity and inclusion strategy and later assumed oversight of its philanthropic initiatives and community outreach. Rhonda has been instrumental in supporting Charter’s commitment to a workforce that reflects the varied communities it serves where our 95,000 employees live and work, and creating an inclusive environment across the Company’s 41-state operation.
During Rhonda’s tenure, Charter has launched several initiatives that assist local communities, helping them become more connected through programs focused on key human services, strategic small business support, philanthropic investments, and employee engagement. Introduced in 2022 as the Company’s tentpole program, Spectrum Community Center Assist revitalizes community centers in rural and urban areas and provides technology and digital education. Spectrum Digital Education partners with organizations to help with digital literacy, providing education, funding and technology resources, including computers and smart devices. The Company also supports the volunteerism of its 100% U.S.-based workforce by encouraging employees who volunteer with qualifying nonprofit groups to nominate them for financial grants distributed through the Spectrum Employee Community Grants program.

Glickman class-action lawsuits brought by African American farmers who alleged the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s farm credit and non-credit benefit programs were discriminatory.
Early in her career, Rhonda worked as a tax attorney and served as a law clerk for Judge Ronald L. Buckwalter in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
